If your students ask why they should be learning history

I am a history teacher, and I love this book! It gives the basic outline and important facts of each time period. What I especially love about it is that it also provides meaningful objectives as to why students today should learn this material. My professors would call these "hip pocket themes" = what students can take away with them. Plus, it keeps you on task as to what you should be focusing on with each chapter. It includes both World and U.S. history.
