Ahmed Riad Mahmoud lived in Cairo for the majority of his life, and he lived a life of dedication to his wife and five daughters whom they raised together. Living most of his life in Egypt, he felt that the essence of Islam was being lost little by little. These pages were left with his family before he passed away, as final advice to them. Decades later, his daughter, Seham Abdala, who moved to America in the 1970s, translated it from Arabic to English in order to benefit her children and grandchildren. Giddu Ahmed's grandchildren and great grandchildren are now scattered over the globe and still read his simple, sensible, timeless words of advice. This is being shared with the public as continuous charity to benefit our dear Giddu Ahmed in the afterlife (IsA). May Allah accept from him this beautiful intention of preserving the essence of the Islamic message to his progeny. May his soul rest in peace. May Allah expand and lighten his grave, and protect him from its trials.May he be raised amongst the righteous and may he be forgiven for all his sins. May he reach the highest Jannah without further judgment, and may we all meet him there, IsA. May our progeny and yours always turn to Allah in good and bad times, and live our lives by these tenets of faith until the hereafter, IsA.
