This is a book of lessons-the things learned during a life's journey over seven plus decades. It was written for my three sons, and their children and grandchildren; although, others may find parts of it interesting and perhaps helpful. This book is an attempt to share what life has taught me, so that others may learn from it. The lessons are from everyday life-the simple, silly, complex, mundane, and sometimes profound occurrences that we all encounter while living on this planet. Every experience noted offered an opportunity for learning. This is not a book of wisdom; although, some lessons learned offered wisdom. This is not an autobiography, or even a memoir. This is not a religious book; although, I reference my faith in several chapters. And this book is not a confessional. All my great sins have been left unstated; they are contained in another volume which only God ever sees.
