I followed that advise and was fortunate to find an amazing teacher nearby. Each lesson was full of tips, pointers, suggestion and reminders that I wrote down as well as I could, knowing my ability to help guide my child was very limited. I tried multiple different lesson books and none of them worked well for my needs. So I created my own emphasizing what I wanted: flexibly space to record the teacher's comments, a way to keep track of daily effort, a way of marking which songs were worked on, bigger goals, and even a way of remembering when to pay the teacher every four lessons. The format is flexible and works well. This book is meant to be functional and adaptive to a variety of ages and styles. I've added a bar staff based on a teacher's suggestion as well as theory notes and with KDP as a publisher, I have the ability to continue to revise it. Please let me know if you have suggestions
