A leprechaun in America? Kelli Kelly cannot believe her eyes when she sees a leprechaun in her hometown of Lansing, Michigan.

Kelli is out on the run with her friend Sandy when she trips and falls on a patch of clovers and finds a four-leaf clover. She knows four-leaf clovers bring luck to the finder. As she starts running again, she sees a leprechaun out of the corner of her eye.

These clovers lead to her meeting Linc Sorensen, a wonderful man who is full of stories of adventure and magic that seem both believable and unbelievable. Linc appears to be surrounded by magic, too, with his tales of leprechauns, mermaids, and pyramids.

But when Kelli thinks Linc might be the one fated for her, she meets Aiden, the leprechaun she saw on her run. She is in awe of him as he introduces her to the magical world of the leprechauns and teaches her their magical ways-not to mention that he can pop her to Ireland and back in a blink of an eye. Aiden tells her she is unique, that she has magic in her blood, and that she is meant to do something great as a leprechaun.

While Linc fills her days with stories of adventures and becomes a close confidant, Aiden becomes her guide in the world of fairies and leprechauns. However, as she discovers more of her capabilities, she realizes that everything is not magical and fun. With great power comes significant responsibilities.

So as Kelli hones her powers, she gets pulled into two directions in her life. Should she stay in reality, in her happy life in Michigan, and fall in love with Linc? Or should she follow Aiden to Ireland, leave her friends and the good life she has made, and fulfill what seems to be her magical destiny?
