Welcome to Sparta.
The land of pain and the home of violence.
Here life is war, and war is life. Imperfect infants are destroyed, and by age 7, boys are trained to kill without mercy.
490 B.C. - The Persian King Darius the Great unsuccessfully attacked the nation of Greece.
480 B.C. - Xerxes I his son has returned with an incalculable army. The mission - to annihilate all Greeks from off the face of the earth.
An older warrior now, King Leonidas has been chosen to lead the Greek resistance on land. But due to Spartan law, is unable to take his army. Allotted only 300 men as a personal guard, he is charged to do reconnaissance on the invader only. Unless provoked.
But he is allowed to recruit any free Greeks along the way to Thermopylae who wished to fight.
Fragmented with internal struggles for centuries, the Greek peoples must now stand together or perish.
The heroics of King Leonidas and his men have been carried down through the centuries.
And now, due to a recently discovered personal diary.
