All these brief essays, collected in this book, have been written in different periods of my life. They have been prompted by different moods, occasions and reading experiences.
Many of them have been published in The Times of India Speaking Tree columns, The Hindu Sunday Magazines and other literary journals. Some of them have not yet been published. The Amazing World was first published as an Editorial in a students' magazine of an engineering college as "Let's Be Surprised". Some of the issues I discussed here are timeless and unanswerable.
I shall feel rewarded if readers benefit from reading this book. It is quite likely that people, who think out of the box, will consider this book thought-provoking.
