I used to wonder why it was that people were afraid of the dark. I'd always scoffed at the idea, but perhaps it was just my own personality at work. After all, some of my best personal memories involved being in the dark: an airsoft game at night with friends in a park, watching a good movie with the lights dimmed down, even the end of the day while drifting off to sleep, with my two cats cuddled up against me, keeping me warm.... but all that's changed now. I now know why people are afraid of the dark.Because now, I'm afraid too.
