Wonderful read!

Cozy, whimsical, and wholesome. Well-paced, doesn't get bogged down with unnecessary detail, and leaves some slight mystery on the side for the reader to speculate while tying up the feel-good story in a nice little bow. It really is just a good relaxing story for fantasy lovers who get too anxious with the high-stakes, high-energy books common in the genre.

Low-stress, comfort read

I enjoyed this as a low-stress, mild adventure, female-protagonist fantasy novel. It hits the marks of a classic fantasy book, with significantly less battle/gore. There is some threat and violence, but focuses more on the development of relationships between characters. Overall, it was a sweet story about friendship and community in a fantasy setting. I think this is a great read for middle school to adult readers.

For the Love of Coffee

I wanted to venture out past mystery genre and I land on Legends and Lattes. Wasn’t sure what to expect since I have never read anything that falls into this category. A cozy fantasy where an Orc that wants to leave her old life behind, start over and settle down. The city of Thune has never heard of coffee. Quickly a run down livery turns into a booming coffee shop with tasty pastries baked by Thimble. Likeable characters of gnomes, rattkins, elves, and a cat. This was a low action, easy fun read. If you are looking for something different to throw into your TBR list give this one a shot!

Audiobook

I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by the author and I think is was great. It’s a slice of life with some great little thrills, action, & laughs. I myself have always wanted a D&D slice of life. Thank you author for a great job. I hope you continue the series.
