Unsuspecting darkness loomed over the land of Dir'lunde. A curse haunts over this land, its origins are unknown. In a fight to control a major continent, dark wizards look to use their forbidden magic even amassing demonic forces to fight by their side. With the disappearance of their beloved prince, Selene and Beleryn go to great lengths to find him but are faced with many challenges along the way. In the Arbor Hills located in the Southern regions of Dir'lunde, lies a great city named Talimdryl. Saryn, his love interest, Selene, his best friend, Beleryn, the drakkons, and the initiates are met with the imposing force of the darkness that hid in the ancient tome of his great-grandfather. Now, running the guild as the current guild master, he leads the initiates to their final trials at the ruins of his great grandfather. Before these trials began, Saryn is met with an old mentor of his and two drakkons, who explained to him that he may have been affected by the curse. They head off towards the ruins after Saryn agrees to allow his mentor and his colleagues to shadow him during the trials. A great evil lies in the unknown, awaiting their arrival. They find him just before his execution in the dwarven throne room belonging to the King of the North. After being let go of his crimes, Saryn formed a treaty with the dwarves, but darkness had its own plans. Saryn knew that time was against him and wanted to marry his love, Selene. As they arrived at Talimdryl, death and decay welcomed the group. Evil has once again stepped foot in the famed city. Before the evil and Vyr'kas could be brought to justice, they escape through a portal. Saryn vowed to find the ones responsible, doing whatever he could in order to find them. He is met with Chronos, God of Time and Space and is told that they traveled to the distant future. Knowing that this is the only way, Saryn agreed to travel into the unknown to bring them back.
