Having an ocean area of 96 percent compared to land area of 4 percent, has made Riau Islands Province (Kepri) rich in maritime potential, one of which is mangrove forests. Mangrove forests are most commonly found at the boundary between coastal estuaries and rivers. Based on data from the Marine and Fisheries Office of the Riau Islands Provincial Government, the total area of mangrove forests in the border area currently reaches 67,417 hectares.Later, a number of mangrove forest areas began to be packaged in the form of ecotourism or ecotourism, so that they have economic value. Ecotourism is a tourism concept that builds a culture of respecting and preserving the surrounding environment while providing a pleasant experience, especially for visitors / tourists.Mangrove forests offer natural panoramas that are still fresh and natural. Visitors can see the beautiful atmosphere of the mangrove forest by climbing the 192.5 X 2 meter wooden bridge that stands around the mangrove forest. The bridge was built using the 2018 Village Fund (DD) worth Rp160 million. Tourists can also take advantage of the existence of the tourist bridge to take selfies with family or couples.
