Legacy of a Preacher's Kid

By Dr David Donnally

Legacy of a Preacher's Kid is a heartfelt memoir of faith, surrender, and the unexpected journey of answering God's call. Growing up in a preacher's home meant a childhood shaped by campfire songs, prayers, and early lessons in service and compassion.

Determined to avoid the burdens he saw his father carry-the late-night calls, the endless needs of a congregation, the quiet sacrifices-he resisted the pulpit. Yet God's plan was greater than his own. In the tension between personal ambition and divine purpose came a gradual surrender, a recognition that true legacy is forged in obedience.

This is a story of wrestling with doubt, embracing grace, and discovering that even reluctant hearts can be transformed into testimonies. A powerful narrative of redemption, hope, and the enduring call of faith, Legacy of a Preacher's Kid invites readers to see how God turns ordinary lives into extraordinary legacies.
