"Lefort" descends from the ancient family of "de Fortia d"Aragon" of Spain, who were Lords, Knights, and Generals commanding Armies for their Kings, for several Generations. The surname of "de Fortia" is an ancient noble family of nobility of Spain. They lead armies for their Kings, who eventually migrated to Brittany, France, England, Canada and to United States of America. In France the name changed from de Fortia to Lifort and then to Liforti, which means in English "Lefort" which means "the strong man of the village". In England they were also known as "Lefort" (strongbow and or Longfellow). In Latin the name "Fort" meant strong and brave from the Latin word of Fortis. This book follows the line from 1100 AD.
