Someone wants Maeve Carey dead. But why? She leads a mundane life with her husband Jeremy in a large home in prestigious East Lake Forest, Illinois. However, Maeve is restless. The police have no clues or suspects and Maeve has no idea who wants her dead. Is the killer a random stranger or someone else, someone close to her? Maeve reexamines and changes her priorities in life and her interactions with others. In the process, she discovers who tried to kill her and that divine guidance has been helping her all along.
