Good poetry.

Stern speaks to the heart in these poems. I occasionally tired of his references to literary and legendary people, but other than that, I really enjoyed these. It was obvious he was writing from the wisdom and knowledge of many years even in his early poems which were, after all, published when he was in his mid 40's.
