This book is a collection of quotations from a late 20th century pirate who called himself Red Stick. His teachings to fellow shipmates had no real beginning, middle or end, but in later years it became common knowledge that hidden in his teachings were "decipherable maps" that could be used to locate treasures he buried for his patrons. More than once has this speculation proven true as in the case of the unearthing of a crystal skull in Galveston, Texas. Historically speaking, pirates have been shy in discussing the practicalities of their profession. What is known is that a great majority dreamt of waking up, seeing the world in a new way, and being able to start an honest business based on justice, equity, and equality. These quotations were probably used in some kind of pirate charter school to meet that end. Start anywhere in the book; eventually you might discover what Red Stick was trying to teach his shipmates. Who knows? - You may discover a buried treasure too.
