This book will probably interest you if you are a psychologist, would like to become one, or feel you were abandoned by your mother.
A young, barely trained worker at psych facility tries to help a patient while dealing with her own similar issues. Glad I am not a "patient" there. Nothing really clever happens and the book limps along to a lackluster ending where the 2 characters seem to remain the walking wounded.

This was an interesting book and it's not because of its genre. It was an interesting book in general, from the setting, its characters, and even the names of these characters - they all fit the overall vibe of the novel. This book completely captured
my attention. I liked this book!
I know I just said it was interesting but I had also been tense while reading this book. It lives up its name as a thriller. Definitely engaging and descriptive, I can't help but contemplate about this book. It's that good, especially the writing. The writing was fortunately not loaded with imagery, which I like in a thriller/mystery novel. I was hooked.
Written in first person, Maya was easy to sympathize with and her character's also another reason why I kept reading this book.
