One of the most popular series in TV history, Leave It To Beaver (1957-1963) stood out from the flock during TV's golden age. While most of its contemporaries (i.e. The Donna Reed Show and The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet) were star-driven vehicles in which the kids were merely supporting players, Beaver's action centered on the children; seven year Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver and his 12-year-old brother Wally. Though the show went off the air in the '60s, it continues to charm new generations even today.
I am so glad I got this finally! This is such a wonderful show that too bad kids aren't watching this wonderful, funny, fun entertaining show now! I love this series,it just is so good! These older great tv shows are over&over again watchable & have been in reruns for 50+ years for a reason! People relate to them for the real life trouble Beaver& Wally get into, the way the parents deal with it, the family loyalty& love, & the great funny comedy without a single lewd comment! Hmmmm....maybe today's cuss filled dialogs should take a note of why these shows are CLASSIC!
