The Bible ends with God's declaration and promise: The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. Rev 22:21 The current state of grace, however, is that fewer people see any day-to-day reality and power in the Christian message - we are at one of the low points of history in having meaningful expectations of, or even seeing any real need of, God. This should alarm us and force us to examine ourselves to see if we are in God's grace or simply "playing" church. The amount and frequency of grace we receive is largely a function of our level of grace understanding and expectations. We should be open to and on the lookout for grace, not waiting for it to find us! For grace is the unique great advantage of the Christian.
