An excellent introduction to the practical application of learning styles research to teaching and counseling situations. The Dunn Learning Style model is introduced, explained, and discussed in light of counseling psychology. I highly recommend this book for teachers, counselors, principals, and educational researchers who are deeply interested in capitalizing on the individual learning style strengths of students. Shirley Griggs does an excellent job of explaining major research studies involving the Dunn Learning Style model and their implications. Several studies are summarized in table form in the appendix of this book.
