Bringing love home

Love to me is like the warmth

You feel in front of a fire

While camping out or cuddled inside

Whatever you may desire

I love to sit down by the lake

On top of a rock that we call ours

I love the peace reflections create

And sometimes lasts for hours

Walking over beaver dams

Looking for the big deeper

Watching mom make homemade jam

Though buying it is quicker

Playing with nieces and nephews of mine

Listening to their unique voices

Playing makes me feel so fine

We have so many choices

Just to sit at home alone

Sleep or read talk on the phone

I really like to make a poem

It seems to bring my love home
