my daughter loves this book!

I personally am happy that the violent endings were written to not be so frightenting to 5 year olds. This has been a fun book for us to use - we love the story related activities at the end of the book. My daughter also has fun acting out the stories - this is a wonderful book to use with your kindergarten curriculum!

Fun and Easy to Use

We are a homeschooling family, and used both the kindergarten and first grade versions of this book. They are enjoyable supplements to any reading program. For second grade, I purchased a rigorous curriculum, and we really do miss the Learn to Read with Classic Stories. We are buying the second grade book and are looking forward to it!
