Learn to Read using the Phonics Method

Phonics was the method for teaching reading when I went to school, and it eld to a 99% literacy rate. Unfortunately, Phonics was abandoned nearly 50 years ago, in favour of a new method that has seen literacy rates plummet. My aunt was a senior infant schoolteacher who also took the remedial reading class, and there was no doubt in her mind that the new method was poison for young minds. So, she gave me a set of phonics reading books when my first child started school and in no time, he was reading well above the rest of the class being taught by the new method. This book will help parents to teach their children to read and spell by using phonics. It will be very useful for home schooled children.
