Kanji writing practice In this chapter you will practice writing 100+ kanji characters that are required for the JLPT Level N5. There's no official N5 kanji list, so the provided set is an approximation of which characters showed up in tests in the previous years. For each character you will get space to practice writing it individually as well as in compounds with other kanji and 'okurigana' (accompanying kana letters). Most of the characters come with 5 different words that contain them and some of the most common ones have as much as 13 words. After each set of 10 or so characters you will be prompted to pass a quick quiz to revise what you've learned. The quizzes mostly include common words that are required for the Level N5 test. 3. Cut-out flash cards These last pages of this workbook are designed to be cut out and cut into smaller cards.
