Rick and Bettina are newly weds. Sure there are misunderstandings, but all newly weds have those, right?Things seem to calm down after the birth of their son, but soon after things begin to unravel. Rick feels like his opinions and feelings are being discarded behind the now all too familiar line, "You're being too sensitive." Heartbroken he must decide what's best for himself and for their son, Andy.As Bettina's abuse continues, Rick falls into depression, wondering where it all went wrong. He decides to focus on Andy and being the best parent he can be, resolving to never get involved in a relationship again. Then he meets Hannah. At first he is reluctant to approach her because he doesn't want to get involved again, but he keeps getting drawn to her. He tries to fight it, but he can't stop thinking of her. Eventually he reaches out in the hopes of someone loving him as much as he loves her. He knows it's a gamble, but sometimes you just have to make a Leap of Faith.
