Probably the best of Phil Crosby's books that I have read to date. The Art of Becoming an Executive is a must read for anyone who is newly appointed to an executive role, is a manager, or aspires to the C-Suite. Crosby, in his folksy and easy to read manner, distills the major differences between the role of manager and executive using fictional stories and case studies. His analysis and grasp of the challenges of executive leadership are well articulated and thought provoking. Take the opportunity to read this execllent work - with an open mind.
