Medicinal herbs - one of the main therapeutic agents of the Chinese medicine. The content of traditional Chinese pharmaceutical agents includes the ingredients of a vegetable, mineral and animal origin: herbs, vegetables, nuts, berries and fruit; jewels, soil of various types, parts of insects, fish, birds and wild animals. Various parts of plants (roots, stems, branches and bark, leaves and fruits) and bodies of animals (dried-up bones, bile, placenta) are applied. Various plants are combined in the structure of medicines taking into account their action and compatibility. Besides, in the Chinese traditional and official medicine medicinal properties of fungi have been used for a long time. From a number of fungi different medicines, products of a special purpose of nutraceutical science - which are used for prevention, rehabilitations and treatments of various diseases, are commercially obtained.
