Wherever she goes, she makes new friends and learns new things. As a young puppy at the shelter, she has the life of every dog's dreams - plenty of food and water, and a safe, warm bed. When her life is disturbed, she doesn't let it bug her and instead eagerly faces every challenge that comes up. She finds new homes whenever she loses her last one and adjusts to change quickly so she can enjoy her life, all the while helping any animal who needs it. Later on in the book, she matures into a more sensible dog who tries to shape her own life instead of riding along like she's on a wild rollercoaster, but this new change causes her to seek out one last new home.
