A TRUE PAGE TURNER Murder mysteries are my favorite. Laura's Lunch, by Gray Regnani is classified as a TRUE PAGE TURNER. Details make it feel as if you are there. Books like Laura's Lunch is one of those books that you become connected to the people in the book, it's almost like they're your friends and you don't want to have to put the book down or have the book end. I highly recommend Laura's Lunch to those who are as much as a murder mystery fan as I am and I'm a BIG fan!
Good Going!

First of all, I want to thank Gary on behalf of my children, for the wonderful dedication to my late husband, Paul Regnani. Paul was an inspiration to many young people before his untimely death at age 45. Thank you, Gary, for remembering. "Laura's Lunch" is terrific! It reads like a movie, with the scenes set in your mind through Gary's meticulous descriptions. You are there, with the detectives, sharing the intrigue and action! There are unusual and totally unexpected twists and turns as the story unfolds. I found myself saying "OH NO! This can't be happening!" I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Gary, we need a sequel! It was hard say goodbye at the end. A great read, for sure. Julie Regnani Johnson, Medford, Oregon
Intriguing Murder Mystery

As a reader of Laura's Lunch who is not from the 50's decade, there was no doubt that what I couldn't relate to from this time period, didn't hamper my reading of this book, but encouraged my interest in this riveting novel. The more I read, the more intrigued I became as the plot unfolded page after page. I did not want to stop reading this book, yet at the same time I focused on reading (and re-reading certain parts!) carefully, so that I wouldn't miss a single detail. This came in handy as the characters took on stronger personalities, and the plot took me through so many exciting twists and turns, with the underhanded plotting of the antagonist becoming deeper and more sinister. I would definitely recommend this exciting murder mystery!

I really enjoyed reading this book...it was very suspenseful. It took me on many twists and turns throughout the book right up to the end. I also liked how Gary described the time era of the 50's so I could picture everything in my mind. I would recommend it to any one and in fact I have! I see a sequel in the making! :)
Great Reading

Usually I am not a book reader but I couldn't put "Laura's Lunch" down. The mysterious storyline kept me on-edge and the characters were very interesting. I tried to find where Gary erred in his description of items in the 1950s. In his references to things such as penny loafers, TV show names, plugging in the coffee pot, etc., I could find no errors. "Laura's Lunch" brought back many memories of the '50s for me. This book is a must-read. Paul Palmer
