Mit dem vorliegenden Werk (Originaltitel: Laughing Buddha, Winchester VA, 2004), setzt Lanoue seinen ersten Haiku Roman fort. Er ist 2010 im Hamburger Haiku Verlag erschienen: David G. Lanoue, Voller... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a richly textured novel with a deep layer of humor running throughout. It's a sequel to Lanoue's "Haiku Guy," and it brings us back to visit such wonderful characters as the poets in Black, White, and Green. And, for such a thoughful and funny book, it has a surprising amount of deftly handled action. Although you don't need to read "Haiku Guy" in order to understand the story in "Laughing Buddha," I think the two books work together beautifully and I feel that having read "Haiku Guy" deepened my enjoyment of the sequel.
