Last Poems

By Graeme William Ellis

Prepare to embark on a breathtaking journey through time, art, philosophy, and human emotion. Last Poems is an extraordinary and deeply ambitious new collection by Graeme William Ellis that defies easy categorisation. Part poetic odyssey, part philosophical treatise, this book weaves a rich tapestry of the human experience.

Ellis seamlessly bridges the ancient and the modern, guiding readers through a brilliant maze of cultural touchstones. From the delicate, snow-covered woodblocks of the Japanese "Floating World" to the haunting chords of Chopin's etudes, from a radical postmodern deconstruction of Shakespeare's Hamlet to the cinematic genius of Federico Fellini, every page offers a new revelation. Richly structured around W.B. Yeats' complex system of masks and phases from A Vision, these verses pulse with a rare, visceral intellect.

Featuring iconic front cover art by Hosoda Eishi, Last Post is more than a poetry collection-it is a striking visual and textual monument to the unity of being. Perfect for lovers of literary fiction, art history, and deep philosophical inquiry, Last Post invites you to look at the everyday world askance. Discover the language of the soul.
