Good MG novel

The book itself was good. However, the ages and the events did not add up to me. These are teens but I believe supposed to be 13 year Olds? But the events made it seem like they were 16 or 17 year old teens. With that being said, the story started out slow and eventually picked up. It is still a good science fiction dystopia book for MG/YA readers.
