The characters in this book are real but they do not represent anyone directly who participated in the January 6, 2020 insurrection. They represent the universality of these types of people through out history, be it the French Revolution, the Bolshevik Revolution, or the American Revolution, the people are all the same. They still represent the fears, hopes, and dreams of the participants. Unfortunately, many are filled with hate, a tendency that is all too apparent. There is an obvious disconnect with reality. These digital drawings represent characters who are part of that drama. They are part of that disconnect. In many ways, we all are.Last Chant in the Bardo echoes the ghosts of the past, not so we will forget them, rather, to remember them, and hopefully learn something in that process about ourselves.
