Lots of Action and Tense Moments

I enjoyed reading the stories of several of the Last Chance rescuers that have been a part of the series. There’s lots of action and tense moments as the heroes and heroines battle not only an intense winter storm but also the fears they have about giving their hearts to another. All the authors do a great job of building tension that will keep you entertained and turning the page. There is a faith element in each novella, which shouldn’t surprise anyone since Sunrise Publishing offers Christian stories. The overarching theme of the collection is learning to rely on God and trusting Him no matter the situation. All three novellas are solid, but I enjoyed Rescued Trust by Michelle Aleckson the most. Anthony Thomas was such a great character and initially so misunderstood. The three convicts with ties to Last Chance set loose in a transport accident stretched the believability for me, but overall, the stories are worth the read.
