I couldn't put it down!

What a great book! Not only does the author hold the reader's attention by keeping us guessing throughout the book, but he intertwines the politics and personal agendas of the character to create quite an interesting story. I read it in three days and lost some sleep just because I wanted to find out what happens next! Definitely give it a try. Hopefully, there will be more books by Dan Dundon.

Murder mystery you won't want to put down!

Dan Dundon's "Lassiter Hill" is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a well-written, all-consuming murder mystery. Written from an alternating viewpoint of past and present, the reader is led into the twisted yet all-too-ordinary background of its main character, Mark Lassiter. The murder trial is narrated by the prosecutor whose need to discover the truth is just as strong as the reader's desire to know what really happened. Once you begin reading you won't want to put this book down! "Lassiter Hill" may be Mr. Dundon's first work of fiction, but it surely won't be his last!

Murder Mystery

I could not put this book down. I enjoy murder mysteries and this one is very compelling. I read it in a weekend having to pull myself away to get anything else done. Its twists and turns and surprise ending is well written and thoroughly enjoyable.

Leslie Mark Family

This novel about the Leslie Mark family murders brought back memories of 31 October 1975. I had visited with Les several nights before about planning an agricultural meeting, so was shocked at the news report. The fictionalized story was somewhat different than the actual occurence, but fiction is an important part of our history. In March 1975 my parents died because a drunk driver hit the car that they were riding in. These life changing events were supported by my strong Christian beliefs of which I am thankful for.

a compelling mystery

I usually don't read fiction, but I truly enjoyed this fast moving novel.Lots of twists and turns that makes it fun, and with the details of the real crime at the end of the book, I think the author has done an excellent job is writing a compelling story- in fact- I read it in just a couple of days.
