Language and attitude

Language is omnipresent in our everyday lives. It serves to gather information, communicate and much more. This makes it all the more important to understand how the type of language we use can influence us. To investigate this, an online study was conducted as part of this thesis with the aim of finding out how the different use of nouns and adjectives in media articles of varying valence affects our attitudes.
