A 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle of an iconic landscape illustration from book designer and artist Brian Cook. Lose yourself in the rolling hills based loosely on the headlands of Great and Little Hangman, North Devon. This inviting scene, available as a jigsaw puzzle for the first time, featured on the dust jacket of the 1933 book Landscape of England by Charles Bradley Ford. The illustration was also exhibited at the Arts Council exhibition Landscapes in Britain 1850-1950 at the Hayward Gallery in 1983. The box includes 1,000 jigsaw pieces in a sustainable paper bag. Once completed, the puzzle measures 70 cm x 50 cm.
I enjoyed the puzzle itself, but disliked that the banner across the top of puzzle on the box top picture did not match the placement of the banner on the actual puzzle. Not sure I would purchase another jigsaw puzzle from this company due to this discrepancy.
