Honest and Open

Sheilah Vance's writing is refreshingly honest! The main character, Carolyn, keeps a clearly written account of her thoughts and feelings as she journeys through separation, divorce, and dating again... a very real emotional roller-coaster ride! What I find most interesting about the book is that it covers areas of divorce that women have to deal with, which lots of people don't know about (hence, the name!) Sheilah takes her character through an emotionally-challenging experience of heartache, fear, and turmoil and turns it into a triumphant journey of faith, self-discovery, and love.
