A detailed survey of modern military equipment.

Upon first glance, "Land Forces of the World" is just another tank book, simple-mindedly designed for children. Once it is read, however, it rapidly becomes apparent that it is far more. The accurate specifications, adequate pictures and detailed data on thousands of types of tank, APC, IFC/MICV, armoured car, SP gun, artillery piece, and mortar put this book firmly in with the like of any of Jane's Recognition Guides, and it is far more extensive in scope and subject. A must for the modern military afichionado.
