What happens when you're truly immersed in the wilderness? What can be born from stillness?
After years of living in the crowded, fast-moving cities of the Netherlands, Eytan Pol longs for a life of peace and solitude. Drawn to the vast, open landscapes of Southern Utah, he relocates to Capitol Reef National Park in January 2020, eager to lose himself in the desert landscape as a volunteer park ranger. But just as he starts to settle in, the world shifts dramatically. The park (along with everything else) shuts down, and Pol finds himself cut off from civilization. What was meant to be a tranquil retreat quickly becomes an intense, isolating experience, and the desert that was once a place of serenity now feels like an endless expanse that only intensifies his loneliness. In this empty, quiet wilderness, Pol's journey takes an unexpected turn, as he faces the raw power of nature and the deep challenges of self-discovery in a world that's suddenly come to a halt.
