Though I know this is the first book in a long series but it didn’t interest or grab me. I did power read through it because it was a part of a book club choice, but I honestly didn’t enjoy it very much. Snooze fest.

I’ve never read anything that moved me and has stayed with me as this quartet has. I loved it & wish it never ended. Ferrante is a master story teller.

Beautifully written. If you have ever had a life long friend you will love this book. I couldn't put it down. I usually read crime thrillers but occasionally look for a book that tells a true and deeper story. I am so glad I found this book
