Being at the forefront of fashion seems to be the obsession of our superficial society. Why must we constantly strive to conform and chase after fleeting trends dictated by self-appointed "fashion gurus"? And who decides what is fashionable anyway? Is it the overpriced designers with their pretentious runway shows or the vapid influencers flooding social media? It's disheartening to see people blindly following these so-called trends, buying into an industry that thrives on consumerism and exploitation. Instead of wasting time and money trying to be at the forefront of fashion, perhaps we should focus on cultivating true individuality and personal style rather than mindlessly conforming to what someone else dictates as fashionable.
