Lady Blade's Jaguar Jungle: A 2-Person Adventure Module

Welcome to Jaguar Jungle, the first of Urban Realms' Literary Labyrinths (games based on a novel or series). This adventure takes place at the end of the novel, Lady Blade. It is a two-person, 5th Edition module that continues the story of Francesca DiCesare and her pirate captain, Will Massey. It's not necessary to read the book ahead of time, but it will add depth to their story and their love affair.

The idea is that both players are PCs and one of the players also DMs. We've divided the adventure into scenarios. Players are encouraged to switch DM duties each scenario and to not read ahead to avoid spoilers. That way, the mystery lasts until the end.

While this isn't a romance module like our Date Night Dungeons, our two PCs are in love. Since Francesca and Will make a great team, we've added synergy aspects to the game to encourage partnership and connection. And, the Aztec goddess of love, Xochiquetzal may smile on our heroes, dice willing.

Francesca, Will, and 12-year-old Carter have left the pirate ship, Destiny, and her crew. Now they're traveling through the Panama jungle on the Camino Real road to start a new life together.

But when evil forces kidnap Carter along with the rest of the children in a native village, Francesca and Will are the only ones who can save them. They'll explore an ancient Aztec pyramid, discover wonders they never dreamed of, and fight horrors they couldn't imagine.

Can Will and Francesca save the children from an ancient Conquistador intent on power and domination? Or will they meet their match in Jaguar Jungle?
