PART TWO: THE PATH OF SAINT FL NEUR
Torn between desire and faith, a young man speaks of the turmoil he suffers as he seeks to reconcile his orientation to two opposing loves, neither of which he can dismiss. His faith compels him to embrace celibacy, but his enfleshed soul pushes back. This is the story of a divided will in the spirit of Saint Augustine. This section is written in informal verse, but reads like interior monologue.
