Dragons, Oh My!

Bianca D'Arc's best series so far. I've loved every installment of this series and hope that she will come back to it and continue to write much more about this fascinating world.

Erotic dragons!!

Great! Another erotica 'keeper' series...my husband will be SOOO thrilled :) I've already ordered the other print books in this series by Bianca D'Arc. If you liked McCaffrey's "Pern" books and you like erotica, then RUN, don't walk, to your nearest bookstore and pick up this book. You are in for a real treat! This print book includes the first two "Dragon Knight" series books. The others in print so far are "The Ice Dragon" and "Prince of Spies". There is also a short story in the print anthology "I Dream of Dragons" published in March 08. MAIDEN FLIGHT - Belora is NOT a happy camper. Her arrow shot true and that stag would feed she and her mother for a month. Then that greedy dragon just swooped down and grabbed it...She'll just see about that! Belora and her mother have been alone for most of her life. She assumes everyone can hear and speak with dragons. Little does she know but this talent sets her apart, and the dragon Kelvan has no intention of letting her get away. This little one doesn't look too bad, for a human, and his knight Sir Gareth had been pretty grouchy lately...this should cheer him up!! Sir Gareth is indeed delighted with his dragon's gift. She's a beauty and they are immediately and powerfully drawn to each other. Now all Gareth needs to do is move her to his den, mate with her, explain the 'unusual' dragon riders customs to her, mate with her, keep her mom safe, mate with her, stop a war, mate with her...er, did he forget to mention dragon rider families have two males to one female? BORDER LAIR - Belora's mother, Adora, has struggled to raise her daughter by herself. She's suffered the loss of two other children and the loss of her husband, but she and Belora have done just fine. She's accepted her daughter's unusual family and is happily ensconced at the Dragon Lair working as a healer. What Adora doesn't know is that she's about to run into an old friend. And the shocking news this old friend has for her will change her life forever. Sir Jared lost his wife and son to an attack while he was off on the king's business. He's felt the heavy burden of guilt since that time and has closed himself off from everyone except his dragon, Kelzey. He's instantly attracted to Adora, but guilt still rules his heart. Lord Darian sacrificed his standing, his home, and his country to bring news to the lair of an impending attack. He is also strongly attracted to Adora and he's quite willing to provide the love she needs. Who will Adora choose? Will she have to choose? All things are possible...with the help of some very conniving dragons...

Bianca's Books

I read Bianca's book on her reccomendation. When I read Ladies of the Lair I kinda knew what to expect since Ive already read Ice Dragon. It turned out to answer more questions that I thought I had and it gave a different back ground that I assumed. B weaves together a group of people that have a different life style, but in some fashion makes it blend together and works out for the best. I didnt understand how a the main chracters could be going at it like bunnys with in hours of meeting, AH but I read the book further and now I get it. The dragons have a HUGE impact on thier human counter parts. The dragons also manipulate (and blame the mother of all) the humans to make things happen that will have a better outcome for both races. Things happen at a fast clip for a reason in her world. There is a nemesis that is trying to over take and over shadow our poor Draconia and lay it to waste. I personally give the first two books a huge 5 stars on the plot and story line. More into that than the alternative scences, but hey they are important to arent they? Written By Kore

Ladies of the Lair includes the first two of the Dragon Knights series: Maiden Flight & Border Lair. Maiden Flight: There are not many human females in the world who have the ability to speak with a dragon, much less the courage to stand up to one. When the dragon Kelvan meets the human woman Belora, he knows she is special and resolves to take her to his Knight, Gareth, who will know what to do. Gareth and Belora are instantly drawn to each other, falling in love at once. Gareth knows recognizes Belora as his true mate, but worries that she will turn away from him when he reveals his secrets to her. Will Belora be able to live the life of a Dragon Knight's mate? And when her own secrets are revealed, how will they change both her life and her mother's? This was the first book of Bianca D'Arc's that I read, and I was instantly mesmerized! D'Arc draws the reader in to her story from page one, engendering familiarity with her characters as if the reader has known them for some time. Belora's and Gareth's love is a tender, almost innocent romance, but don't let that fool you. The story is filled with plenty of spicy scenes, including ménage scenes! Setting the story in a fantasy realm gives the author a prime opportunity to create a valid reason for the ménage, and she not only makes you understand it, but agree with it. If you love dragons, knights, and sweet romances chock full of sexiness, this is a must-read! Border Lair: Adora's story is introduced in Book One of the Dragon Knights series, where she is reunited with her long-lost surrogate dragon mother, Kelzy, who is mother to Adora's daughter Belora's dragon, Kelvan. Widowed since Belora was a small child, Adora has struggled to provide a good and happy life for Belora, in spite of the heartbreak suffered by both when Adora's oldest twin daughters were kidnapped as toddlers. A talented healer, Adora has supported herself and her youngest daughter by healing the townspeople. When Belora mated with Gareth and Lars, Adora returned to her woodland shack alone. But when evil attacked the town, leaving it desolate and empty, she is taken in by Kelzy and her dragon Knight, Jared. Jared thought his life over when his family was murdered. Kelzy gave him a reason to live, bonding with him and making him her dragon Knight. When Adora is attacked in her cottage, Jared and Kelzy rescue her, bringing her to their den, where Jared tends to Adora's wounds until she is well. Having resolved never to love again, Jared is determined not to allow himself to fall in love with Adora, yet finds her irresistible. When his old friend Darien also falls for Adora, will Jared finally admit his feelings to both himself and Adora? Bianca D'Arc created a magical world with Book One of the Dragon Knights series, and picks up where she left off in Book Two, Border Lair. From the beginning of Book Two, the reader feels as if they simply turned another page in the same story, with no noticeable p
