Ladies, DISMOUNT!!

It was certainly refreshing to read this book. As a woman who has certainly experienced my share of failures and fears, I found the book to be encouraging, recognizing that we all have some unsurmountable situations in our lives - or we think they are unsurmountable. It was a blessing to read about the different situations the women faced and I thank the author, along with those who have shared their stories, for doing so. It just lets me know that if you are afraid to "tell it", you will continue to be bound by it. God wants us to be free -- and while I recognize that this book is not a "religious" book, to some extent, the principle is the same: You CAN be delivered from whatever holds you hostage if you DISMOUNT!!!! Kudos to you ladies for being such an inspiration. God bless you!! P.S.: I have and will continue to recommend this book to my friends.

A New Look On Life

Ladies if Your Horse is Dead Dismount is an excellent book to motivate yourself through any situation. Every chapter in the book relates to your own personal experience. Everytime if find myself sitting on the dead horse I re-read the the book to make myself have a renewed strength. Everyone I know who has read the book has loved the stories and have shared them with their friends of all ages. My teenage daughters have read this book and appreciated it!!!

This book turned my life around!

it's not an easy thing to do...look at youself as others do. This book helped me to do that. I have told all my friends including men to read the chapter titled A Horse With No Sense of Time.

This has got to be one of the greatest books ever written! Chapter 4 is about a dear friend of mine & I am so happy that her experience has been written about, to be shared with others!Each one of the people in the book made you really stop & take a look at your own life. I have shared this book with friends up north, who are in turn sharing it with their friends! Everyone's like..."Hey, you gotta read this book" or "You really NEED to read this book!" Doesn't take long to sit down & enjoy it...much more enlightening than most of the tv shows these days! Keep up the good work Lynn! Can't wait for the next one!

At last a book that not only is fun, but also motivates you to recognize and get off that dead horse and take charge of your life. I agree, it is cheaper than prozac, and quicker than therapy. I have recognized myself in this book. I loved reading and will re-read this book. Thank you Lynn.
