While the Saints who tell these stories have long since passed on, their experiences and the faith that sustained them are just as relevant for us today as they were for their contemporaries. Cannon, the founder of Deseret Book, as a way to help youth who weren't interested in reading "gospel books" have quality, spiritually-uplifting materials to read.
