La Última Cena De Vicente [Spanish]

After reading and verifying the account of Mexico's first and only black president, Vincente Guerrero. He was a man of mixed race, black and indigenous. He took on the role of Mexico's second presidency, shortly after Mexico's independence from Spain. He was actively involved in a guerrilla war against Spain, and worked his way up through the ranks, becoming a General of a rag-tag army. It seems to be a story hidden in the archives of Mexico's history, even though President Guerrero seemed to play a major role in their struggle for independence.
His presidency was short-lived by the betrayful acts of his vice president and Mexico's European based establishment that preferred a white man to rule their country. What I found commendable on President Guerrero's part was not just his struggle of freedom for Mexico, but also his emancipation of slavery that existed in his country. Notably, an unpopular political decision during this time period. Yet, it was one of his heroic political acts that probably contributed to his downfall.
