The day I started writing the novel Kurinji Malar was one of the best days of my life when I started doing useful things. The golden age of my soul was the time when the thoughts and performances for this novel flourished. 'This story was born in Tamil soil. Realizing the Tamil culture. I am the one who wants to emphasize the language, country and ethnic characteristics of every Tamil story to be proud of. This desire is my goal. I am one of those who think that the best Renaissance literature of the best and proudest Tamil race, language, country and culture should help. I am proud to work with such consideration. Most of the Tamil novelists take Chennai and its environs as the setting for the story, leaving the various forms of life and various shades of life in the Tamil landscape south of Chennai unnoticed. With this in mind, I wrote the story of Madurai and the surrounding areas of southern Tamil Nadu as the setting for the Kurinji Malar novel.
