This story is dedicated to my two beautidul children Jason and Kecia, who inspired me with these bedtime stories when they were little keikis. Imagination started it all. Our imaginary characters were given funny names so we would not forget them. We would close our eyes making up adventures for these characters. Where would it take us next? Using the "make believe" characters and our own story lines, the adventures would unfold stimulating our imaginations. Jason and Kecia would shout out their imagined characters for me to create where the next event would be; thus the stories were born. It is my vision to share these short stories with you and your children. This story is also dedicated to the children of Hawaii and to those grownups, like me, who live in the magical world of nature and its boundless wonders. I give respect to those caring souls who see beyond the physical and live each day in the spiritual world of love for all beings.Love for one another, above all else, remains as the true purpose of our time here on Earth. I believe it is our purpose in our lifetime to care for our environment and one another, no matter what physical form we are manifested to be. We can share our experiences and knowledge with each other; cultivate our children to become aware of our responsibilities to the world and all beings whether large or small, seen or unseen. We can discover the joy, peace and harmony with nature that is real only if we keep an open mind and discover them in our daily surroundings. The creation of this story will hopefully give the reader an opportunity to discover a whole new world with all animals.
